About My Clients
I help college students manage anxiety, relationship issues, academic stress, and major life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with confidence, or navigating dating and identity, I offer a safe, judgment-free space to process it all. You don’t have to do it alone—therapy can help you feel more grounded, clear, and supported as you face college life and beyond.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience, fully licensed since 2018. I began my career working with adolescents and families impacted by substance use, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding how early life experiences shape emotional patterns. Over time, I found my passion in working with young adults navigating anxiety, dating and relationship concerns, and life transitions. I specialize in supporting college students and millennials who are overwhelmed by change, struggling with identity, or feeling stuck in their emotions. My approach is warm, relational, and nonjudgmental—focused on helping you feel heard, gain insight, and build practical coping tools. Whether you're managing academic stress, navigating love and friendships, or figuring out your next step in life, therapy with me offers clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of self. My goal is to walk alongside you, helping you grow emotionally and feel more at peace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Here’s a thoughtful and authentic response that shares your values and experiences while inviting connection from prospective clients: --- Outside of my private practice, I also serve as a high school counselor in inner-city Atlanta. I intentionally chose this role to give back to students in underserved communities—many of whom face barriers to mental health support, stability, and self-worth. I’m passionate about creating safe spaces for people who often feel unseen or unheard. As a Christian, I can incorporate spiritual guidance into our work together if that aligns with your values, but I always honor and respect where each client is on their own journey. I believe in the importance of representation, access, and advocacy—especially for young people, people of color, and those navigating complex life experiences. Therapy with me is grounded in compassion, cultural awareness, and real connection.
