About My Clients
You may be used to carrying a lot, being dependable, and pushing through stress, but still feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or unsure of yourself. You may notice the same patterns showing up in your work, relationships, parenting, money, or decision-making and wonder why they are so hard to change. Many of my clients are navigating ADHD, racial or workplace stress, self-doubt, shame, family expectations, or the lasting effects of chronic stress and adverse childhood experiences.
My Background and Approach
Learn to recognize the patterns shaping your choices, trust yourself more, set healthier boundaries, and build practical systems that support a more balanced and intentional life. I help you do this by combining thoughtful reflection with practical strategies—examining emotional, family, cultural, and systemic patterns, identifying what is within your control, and building skills you can apply between sessions. We may work on emotional regulation, executive functioning, communication, goal setting, self-compassion, decision-making, and creating routines that better support the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Black woman, first-generation college student, and someone who came from humble beginnings, I learned through trial and error how to navigate systems that were not always designed with people like me in mind. Those experiences shaped my commitment to understanding how racism, workplace culture, financial stress, and generational patterns affect mental health and opportunity. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is both personal and systemic. I want clients to better understand what they have internalized, recognize what belongs to them versus what has been imposed by larger systems, and build lives with greater freedom, confidence, and choice. I also believe joy, curiosity, and connection matter. A random fact about me: I have traveled to 15 countries across four continents, and wherever I go, I make a point to learn how to say “hello,” “please,” “thank you,” and “where is the bathroom” in the local language.
