About My Clients

I enjoy working with individuals navigating states of transition, whether that's with school or work, gender identity, sexuality, relationships, or other areas of life. As a queer, transmasculine, nonbinary, neurodivergent Korean American therapist, I bring unique understanding to those who share similar identities or experience marginalization. I also acknowledge the many differences in our lived experiences that has helped you survive to this day.

My Background and Approach

I founded Tough Guise Therapy in 2024. The “Tough Guise” pun is meant to playfully engage with our own expectations and uncover parts hidden, or exiled, with compassion and unconditional acceptance. Humor and depth are important as we engage in healing and work toward your therapeutic goals. I'm informed by somatic, relational, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed frameworks.
