About My Clients

I work with adults navigating trauma, attachment wounds, and disconnection from self. Many of my clients grew up in emotionally unavailable or unpredictable environments, took on caretaker roles early, or struggle to feel safe and whole in relationship. I’m especially attuned to: Religious and spiritual trauma, complex and developmental trauma, parts work (IFS), somatic psychotherapy, and body-based integration, identity, self-trust, and relational healing.

My Background and Approach

I’m a psychodynamic, relational, and somatic therapist. My approach is collaborative and process-oriented, grounded in deep curiosity, attunement, and a strong somatic foundation. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years working with the body through massage, movement, and structural integration, which deeply informs the way I practice today. I draw from attachment theory and systems thinking, and I pay close attention to the parts of you that carry pain, protect what’s vulnerable, and long for something more, all shaped by your lived experience. Somatic therapy can look many ways. Sometimes we just sit and talk. Other times we may incorporate breath, guided awareness, weighted blankets, or movement. Whatever we do, your body will be included in the process, gently, and only in ways that feel right for you. Our work is rooted in relationship and guided by what’s alive in the room.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is a space where something new can happen, not because the therapist has answers, but because the relationship makes space for what’s been unspoken, unseen, or carried alone. I don't see people as problems to be fixed. I see patterns, protections, and long-held ways of surviving that made sense in context. I don’t require clients to use specific language or identify with a particular framework. I believe healing looks different for everyone, and that autonomy and choice are central to any meaningful process. I hold awareness of how systems, family, culture, power, and oppression, shape our internal and relational lives. My role isn’t to interpret from a distance, but to be with you in a way that’s attuned, respectful, and real. I value nuance, complexity, and connection. I believe in going slow. I trust that what’s ready to emerge will, when there’s enough safety to hold it.
