About My Clients
My clients are deep-feeling, driven people who often look like they have it all together. Many carry the effects of trauma, emotional neglect, or family patterns that taught them to stay strong, keep the peace, or put themselves last. Now they're tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, and feeling like they have to do it all alone.
My Background and Approach
I'm a therapist who specializes in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the lasting impact of difficult family experiences. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and highly self-aware. They've spent years trying to understand themselves, but still feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest and supported enough to take meaningful risks. Rather than focusing only on insight, I help clients create lasting change by working through the experiences and patterns that continue to show up in their lives today. My work is informed by EMDR, parts work, attachment theory, and nervous system-informed approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe most people are a lot harder on themselves than they need to be. Many of us learned early on to stay strong, take care of others, keep the peace, or push through no matter what. Those strategies may have helped us get by, but they can also leave us feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. I'm passionate about helping people understand themselves with more compassion and less judgment. As a Filipino American therapist, I'm especially interested in how family, culture, identity, and generational patterns shape our lives and relationships. I welcome people of all backgrounds and believe therapy should be a place where you feel accepted, challenged, and understood.
