About My Clients
I am a therapist who works together with adults towards regaining balance in their lives after experiencing trauma, anxiety, insomnia, or stress. I work towards resolving challenging life events, upsetting memories, decreased interest and avoidance of things you used to enjoy, or if you feel cautious in situations that are familiar to you. You may have wanted to talk with someone about these events, and discuss solutions that you have in mind while gaining new insights into your own abilities.
My Background and Approach
I believe therapy is most effective with collaboration, trust, and respect. I have experience helping adults, families, college students, healthcare providers, military members and veterans with a variety of challenges. I am currently undergoing a doctoral program in clinical social work at UPenn. I specialize in working with trauma (PTSD), anxiety, insomnia, or stress management. For trauma, I generally will utilize an intervention called Cognitive Processing Therapy. For other conditions, I will use a blend of effective measures such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I have current in person openings Monday at 8:30am or 7:30pm and every other Sunday from 9am to 11am. I have virtual appointments on Thursday and Friday at 7pm.
