About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, perinatal mental health struggles, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. My clients seek support in navigating life's toughest challenges, whether it's healing from past pain, overcoming daily emotional battles, or finding hope amidst crisis. Together, we create a safe space for healing, self-discovery, and building a life grounded in resilience and empowerment.
My Background and Approach
With a background in harm reduction, CAMS (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and family-based therapy for anorexia, I take a holistic, client-centered approach to healing. I prioritize meeting individuals where they are, reducing harm, and building a foundation of trust. Through EMDR, we process past trauma, helping to break free from its grip. CAMS is central in addressing suicidal thoughts and creating safety. For those with anorexia, family-based therapy involves loved ones in the recovery process, offering support, education, and unity. I emphasize the importance of building strong coping skills and mindfulness practices, empowering clients with tools to manage distress, stay grounded, and navigate challenges in healthier ways. Together, we work on cultivating emotional resilience, increasing self-compassion, and creating long-term strategies for managing triggers, leading to lasting recovery and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe that therapy should be a space where everyone feels welcome and accepted—no matter their background, identity, or life experiences. I want to create an environment where you can show up as your authentic self, without fear of judgment. Whether you’re dealing with mental health struggles, gender or sexual identity issues, or past trauma, you deserve to be seen and supported. Everyone’s journey is unique, and I’m here to help you navigate it with compassion and respect. My goal is to make sure you feel safe, heard, and valued, so you can work through challenges, build self-acceptance, and move forward with confidence. Inclusion isn’t just a value to me—it’s at the core of everything I do.
