My Background and Approach
I use a mix of several approaches. I've worked in residential programs, I've been in management, work for profit and non profit, public and private places. I find that I most enjoy working with people where the bulk of my time is with the client and not on paperwork. Due to legal and practical concerns I'm only working with adults. I find that traumas are a root factor in most people's struggles. Most of us are doing the best we can with what we know. I've also seen that people can learn, grow an do much better with the challenges of life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people can find a lot of strength in their beliefs. I think people can excel within their own culture and value structure. I'm respectful of many different value systems and don't want to tell you what you believe. (I may ask you to work on it so you are clear about what you think).
