About My Clients
I have many skills applicable to typical human challenges like anxiety, depression, and grief. My deeper work involves supporting clients struggling with trauma, identity, relationships, and neurodivergence. Are you struggling with self-esteem? Purpose? Painful memories? Maybe you don't feel like yourself. Maybe there's someone in your life who's treating you like crap and you're ready to make a change. Perhaps you feel like you keep making the same mistakes. My Background and Approach
In my trauma work, I make space for processing difficult memories, and use neuroscience to help clients understand, navigate, and regulate their nervous system. I focus on resiliency to help you harness your own adaptive power. Further, I use attachment-based techniques, focusing on boundaries and safety in relationships, and healing relationship wounds. Above all, I believe in creating safety, trust, and empowerment so that you may manage your own life. We go at your pace and in the direction of your choosing, without judgment. Asking for help is a brave action that we all struggle to take. The fact that you are here today means you're already on that path, and I would be honored to work with you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I an affirming therapist and an activist for change in my field. I have experience and training working within the queer community, neurodivergent folks, and complex trauma. I believe in human dignity and worth of all individuals. I believe in collaboration and safety in the therapeutic relationship, and allow clients to hold the power in this process.
