About My Clients

The overwhelming feelings that come with trauma, parenting, blended families, developmental struggles, and mental well-being can seem unbearable. I am here to support you in your ability to transition into new phases and face challenges in your journey. I work not only with individuals but within systems of the family. Engaging the entire unit digs deeper to find the root of the cause and transforms perspectives, rebuilds trust, and improves connections.

My Background and Approach

Change begins with a story and these stories organize our experiences and shape behavior. You are the stories that you tell. As a therapist, I aim to help make room for possibilities and expand your sense of self within your narrative. With life’s highlights and challenges, each layer and role in your life makes you uniquely you. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to manage the ups and downs so your story is not so problem saturated and be able to tell it in a positive light. Therapy can seem dull and so serious; it doesn’t have to be! It helps to explore difficult topics when therapy is more hands-on, expressive, and immersive. I believe that each person that sits in front of me is an expert of their experiences, and I am a source of support as you process emotions, understand your strengths, and discovering your own solutions. Taking the driver seat may seem scary but I am happy to accompany in the ride of your personal growth and learning to trust yourself.
