About My Clients
I work with highly-motivated adults who truly wish to dig deep and heal. I most work with people who have been caregivers, experienced domestic violence (but are not currently in a DV relationship), and/or who have experienced child abuse/neglect, and other types of relational difficulties. At this time, I am only accepting new clients who are interested in doing short-term EMDR intensives.
My Background and Approach
The majority of my training has been through the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. I work with all parts of you that are willing and able to show up, to better understand where big (and sometimes lonely and scary) emotions, thought patterns, and behaviors are coming from and how to move forward with these. By integrating deeper understanding of parts and needs, capacity for making choices aligning with intuition increases (rather than being run by negative beliefs about the self). I frequently use EMDR and attachment-focused interventions this to treat hurt, betrayal, complicated grief, PTSD, Complex PTSD, and other symptoms of trauma/distress.
