About My Clients
I work with adults or adolescents who may be struggling with depression or anxiety related to relationships, life transitions, or self esteem. Our first sessions will explore the issues at hand in a non-judgmental way, and collaborate to create a plan that is individualized to your needs and goals. My clients will gain practical tools to help them feel confident navigating future life stressors.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a trauma-informed, humanistic approach that centers your experience as the client, while also integrating evidence-based techniques from disciplines such as CBT, ACT, and DBT. You will have the autonomy to bring in anything on your mind, and together we'll create a safe space to process emotions, explore traumas, and develop a greater sense of self-awareness and self-compassion. I received an EdM from Boston University, specializing in both Mental Health Counseling and Sport and Performance Psychology.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Navigating life stressors can be challenging, and it is my belief that authentic connection and an empathetic space can be both transformative and healing. Being vulnerable takes immense courage, and I honor that by providing an environment where you can feel both safe and heard. Whether you are new to therapy and unsure of your goals or have clear objectives, I am here to meet you where you are. Together, we'll work to break unhelpful patterns, cultivate self-compassion, and build emotional resilience, giving you the tools to not just survive, but thrive. Everyone has the power within themselves to grow and change, and it is my job to help you find your own inner strength. I will give you practical tools to alleviate stress and suffering in the present, while providing space to explore deeper, underlying patterns that may be unconsciously stopping you from becoming your best self.
