From a systemic perspective that I am specialized and trained in, depression is not a problem itself but a symptom of something else--which could be, for example, relationship issues and feeling rejected and lonely. It is not your fault to feel depressed. I am here to help you explore the underlying issues of the depressive symptoms and learn how to cope with them.

As a systemic thinker (a nickname for marriage and family therapist who is trained in a systemic perspective), I specialize in relationships. Family conflicts are brutal to experience. But it is very important to explore relationship dynamics among family members. All members are encouraged to participate in family therapy because every part is unique and important in the family system. I am here to guide you to repair the rupture of the family relationships.

I have extensive clinical experience working with couples, families, and individuals struggling with relationship issues with partners, spouses, parents, children, friends, and colleagues.

EMDR is an evidence-based approach that helps people process and heal from past traumatic experiences. I offer EMDR to clients experiencing emotional or relational challenges, particularly those related to interpersonal trauma, such as difficult relationships or past abuse. Through EMDR, clients can reduce the emotional intensity of these experiences, build resilience, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. I am trained in EMDR and am in the process of certification.

As a marriage and family therapist, I am trained in couple therapy, especially with extensive training in the Gottman Couple Therapy Method which gives you practical tools to communicate better, work through conflicts, and strengthen your friendship and connection. I am committed to working with couples who are dating, cohabiting, engaged, premarital, newly married, or married.
