About My Clients

I see clients who reside anywhere in CA and prefer virtual therapy. Many of my clients come to me for support with managing their chronic pain. Others are looking to heal from traumatic experiences, anxiety, or depression. I’m deeply committed to offering quality therapy to individuals from diverse & marginalized communities. Women of color, students & professionals from immigrant families, and trans and gender expansive folks often make up much of my caseload.

My Background and Approach

As a mind-body therapist, I take a holistic, integrative approach using evidenced-based therapy. Using mindfulness and yoga, I can help you reconnect with your mind and body, to help when you're feeling stuck in a painful past or a worrisome future. Together we will explore the here and now with self-compassion, and in turn, we will find practical ways for you to take committed actions towards a meaningful life. I have extensive experience in community based settings providing various psychological services, such as teaching Wellness Groups, consulting with other healthcare professionals in Primary Care, working in a Pain Management Clinic, and advocating for gender expansive individuals in a Gender Care Clinic. I also take special interest in supporting my fellow Filipinx-Americans navigate mental health issues and improve wellness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I value the importance of diversity and community. Openness and acceptance are pillars of my work. I value social justice, a growth mindset, and anything that connects the world in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual ways. I prioritize providing a safe place for ALL individuals, based on my authenticity and full commitment. I consider myself an intersectional feminist and am personally passionate about social justice issues, especially those that affect womxn of color & the trans and non-binary community. My work includes a real relationship in therapy that is genuine and inclusive, so that the work can be collaborative and effective. It is my belief that every individual has the capacity for self-healing and growth. My vision is to be able to help people help themselves in restoring what they’ve lost, or in finding their way of moving in the world.
