About My Clients

My clients are often carrying the effects of trauma, abuse, exploitation, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and difficult life experiences. Many have spent years surviving and are now seeking a safe space to heal. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who want to understand their experiences, rebuild trust in themselves and others, develop healthy coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and purpose.

My Background and Approach

I am Dr. Patrice Patton-Campbell, a Clinical Community Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I work with individuals navigating the effects of trauma, abuse, relationship violence, exploitation, grief, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I believe that healing is a process of reclaiming what trauma, adversity, and life’s challenges may have taken away—your sense of safety, trust, voice, connection, and personal power. My role is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can explore your experiences without judgment, build on your strengths, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. Together, we will work to understand the impact of difficult experiences, develop practical tools for coping and growth, strengthen resilience, and create a path forward that aligns with your values and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. Too often, individuals who have experienced trauma encounter misunderstanding, judgment, or systems that unintentionally deepen their pain. My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins when people feel safe, heard, believed, and empowered to make choices about their own lives. I am passionate about trauma-informed care, survivor advocacy, social justice, and creating spaces where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel welcomed and valued. I believe people are far more than the worst things that have happened to them. Each person possesses resilience, strength, and the capacity for growth, even in the aftermath of profound adversity. Whether clients come seeking emotional healing, personal growth, relationship support, or faith-based guidance, I strive to meet them with authenticity, cultural humility, and unwavering respect for their lived experiences.
