About My Clients

My clients are high-achieving adults who are excelling on the outside and quietly running on empty on the inside. They come in navigating burnout, identity strain, chronic stress, and major life transitions, including chronic illness, and they are done waiting until crisis hits to ask for support. If you are ready for clinical care that is strategic, direct, and actually moves, this is the right place.

My Background and Approach

In 2003, I walked into a pediatric cancer ward as a volunteer and left knowing exactly what kind of psychologist I wanted to be. Someone who could hold both the clinical and the human. Nearly two decades later, I have worked across major medical systems, integrated care settings, and private practice in the United States and Europe, including UC Davis Medical Center and Scripps Health, where I spent years at the intersection of chronic illness and mental health. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in health psychology and behavioral medicine, and I opened my private practice in 2021. I work with high-achieving adults navigating burnout, identity strain, chronic stress, and the psychological weight of chronic illness. My approach draws from CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing, applied with precision and tailored to where you are right now. We move quickly from insight to realignment. Telehealth sessions across California.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I grew up between cultures and have spent much of my adult life building a home far from where I started. That experience shapes how I show up for every client, especially those navigating identity, belonging, and the quiet disorientation of living between worlds. I believe therapy should be a space where you do not have to translate yourself. I work with clients across cultural backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences, including LGBTQ individuals, expats, and people whose lives do not fit neatly into a single category. I am committed to anti-discrimination in practice and in life, and I bring that awareness into the room without making it the centerpiece of your care. Outside the office I am endlessly curious, a lover of new cities, good coffee, and ice skating. I believe rest is not laziness and that the bravest thing a high-achiever can do is ask for support before crisis forces the conversation.
