About My Clients
I work with high-functioning adults and college-age students who seem put together on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck underneath. Many struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, relationship stress, burnout, self-doubt, or life transitions. I help clients understand the deeper patterns driving their distress and make lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am an Indian/South Asian-American male psychologist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant and worked at Kaiser Permanente in the Napa Solano Service Area for nine years before starting Interactive Mind Counseling. My experience in hospitals, outpatient mental health, and work with U.S. veterans helps me bring both depth and practical skill to therapy. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client, drawing from ACT, CBT, mindfulness, and relational therapy. That means I help clients understand the deeper patterns driving anxiety, stress, and relationship struggles while building practical tools for clearer decisions, healthier relationships, and lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are usually doing the best they can with the awareness, tools, and support they have at the time. I also believe real change rarely happens through pressure, avoidance, or quick fixes. Healing often begins with honesty — slowing down enough to understand your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and values more clearly. I see therapy as a space where you can be real, reflect deeply, and work toward change that actually feels meaningful and sustainable. I value openness, humility, respect, and compassion, and I honor people from all backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. My goal is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to grow into a life that feels more grounded and authentic to you.
