About My Clients
My specialties include working with individuals, couples, and families living with autism spectrum, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and/or trauma. Essentially, clients come to me to help them work on healing their trauma, learn how to manage their OCD and/or anxiety, navigate being neurodiverse in a neurotypical world, and work with the whole family system towards supporting healthy, balanced, and connected relationships. My work is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed.
My Background and Approach
Hi, I’m Dr. Nicole Gurash and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and how I can be of support. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) As a psychotherapist specializing in neurodiversity and trauma recovery, I provide mental health support for individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum, PTSD/C-PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, and/or OCD. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting therapy for trauma healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapy approach always strives to support cultivating an intentional, balanced, and connected relationship with yourself and your loved ones. I identify as a highly sensitive person (HSP) and enjoy supporting all kinds of neurodivergence. I’m also a proud mom to an autistic teen, who was identified with autism spectrum at a young age. I use an individualized, trauma-focused, collaborative, and integrated approach in our work together. I am neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+-affirming. When I am not supporting my clients in my work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and our Yorkie, running, baking, practicing yoga, and delighting in all that Colorado has to offer with my loved ones.
