Relationships make up such a large and impactful part of our lives. In established relationships, communication is key. In all relationships, learning how to navigate those relationships while being true to yourself is possible.

As the most common mental health concern today, learning effective ways to manage anxiety is crucial. By learning what anxiety is, how you experience it, and effective strategies to manage it, you can shift the power away from anxiety and back to youself.

Having been intensively trained in DBT and successfully implementing this approach with many clients, DBT is an effective therapy in learning to be more mindful, to successfully tolerate distress without making a situation worse, how to regulate emotions, and how to be more interpersonally effective in your life.

Relating as one human being to another in the therapy room, we can dig into some of the more difficult topics or concerns in your life. Recognizing the ways in which you feel comfortable and supported by me can help you identify ways to develop healthier and more supportive relationships in your life.

Attachment theory formed the foundation of my doctoral dissertation and can be enlightening and guiding in couples work.
