Accepting Clients

Still carrying what someone else did to you? I help sexual trauma survivors reclaim their safety, joy, and freedom without reliving it all.

Clinical Psychologist in Pasadena, CA

About My Clients

I work with women who are surviving, but not fully living. Maybe you feel hypervigilant, struggle with trust, or carry shame that isn't yours. Your body feels like a source of pain, or you've disconnected from it altogether. You look fine on the outside while quietly falling apart inside. No matter how hard you try to move forward, trauma keeps showing up in your relationships, your body, & the way you see yourself. Whatever your story, you deserve to reclaim your power & sense of self.

How I Can Help You

You're in the right place. I began my career as a rape crisis interventionist & have spent nearly 15 years working with survivors of sexual assault & abuse, not as a side specialty, but as the heart of my work. My doctoral dissertation focused on lesbian survivors of sexual assault, deepening my understanding of how minority stress, discrimination, & community dynamics shape trauma & healing. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, queer woman, & survivor myself, I bring clinical expertise, lived experience, & deep respect for the courage it takes to reclaim your power. You won't be pushed to tell your story before you're ready. We'll move at a pace your nervous system can handle because healing starts with safety. Grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, & feminist theory, I'll help you reconnect with yourself, reclaim your agency, & build the life trauma tried to take from you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Your mental health is shaped by the systems & social contexts you navigate every day. Racism, sexism, homophobia, & other forms of oppression aren't just background noise, they're real forces impacting your wellbeing. Too often, struggles labeled as "personal problems" are actually responses to oppressive systems & impossible standards. I honor the full complexity of your identity & cultural values, seeing them as sources of strength rather than obstacles to overcome. Your liberation matters & I'm committed to creating space where all of who you are is celebrated. I'm a passionate advocate for social justice, & open to answering any questions to help you feel safe in our relationship. When not in session, you'll find me soaking up inspiration from nature's beauty or brunching with friends. I'm energized by powerful & inspiring women, activism, seeing my plants grow (all with unique names, of course), music (favorites are King Gizzard & Chappell Roan), & the simple joys of life.
