About My Clients
I work primarily with women and queer folks who are surviving, but not fully living. Maybe you're hypervigilant, struggling with trust, or carrying shame that isn't yours. Perhaps flashbacks or intrusive memories interrupt your days, or you've disconnected from your body entirely. You might look fine on the outside while quietly falling apart within. You've tried to push through, but the weight of what happened keeps showing up — in your relationships, your body, and the way you see yourself.
How I Can Help You
I began my career as a rape crisis interventionist and have spent nearly 15 years working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse — not as a side specialty, but as the heart of my work. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, queer woman, and survivor myself, I understand the courage it takes to move from victim to survivor, and the profound growth that occurs when we face our pain with compassion. My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. Grounded in Internal Family Systems, somatic therapy, and feminist theory, we work directly with your nervous system — where trauma is actually stored — to heal at the root rather than just manage the symptoms. You'll feel like you're doing deep, meaningful work with a caring and confident guide who is genuinely on your side. I'm passionate about this work because I've been there. I know what it takes. I know what's possible on the other side, and I'm here to help you get there.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Your mental health is shaped by the systems & social contexts you navigate every day- racism, sexism, homophobia, & other forms of oppression aren't just background noise, they're real forces impacting your wellbeing. Too often, struggles labeled as "personal problems" are actually responses to oppressive systems & impossible standards. I honor the full complexity of your identity & cultural values, seeing them as sources of strength rather than obstacles to overcome. Your liberation matters & I'm committed to creating space where all of who you are is celebrated. I'm a passionate advocate for social justice, & open to answering any questions to help you feel safe in our relationship. When not in session, you'll find me soaking up inspiration from nature's beauty or brunching with friends. I'm energized by powerful & inspiring women, activism, seeing my plants grow (all with unique names, of course), music (favorites are King Gizzard & Chappell Roan), & the simple joys of life.
