My Background and Approach
I tailor my approach to your needs. Every person is unique in what they need and what helps. I particularly love working with people who feel stuck - who know life could be better but can't quite figure out how to move forward. Maybe it is changes that are needed in your personal life, or changes in how you feel about yourself or your past. I have helped thousands of people make great changes in their lives. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believed that if I was going to really help people, I had to really know what I was doing. I graduated Magna cum Laude from Rollins College with degrees in both Psychology and Philosophy. I earned a Master's Degree and also a Doctorate Degree from Florida Tech, with the emphasis on the actual treatment of people. I have worked in a women's shelter; with all branches of the military; in a locked Baker Act receiving facility; in the Juvenile Justice system; with the Osceola School System and also supervised 10 therapists on a government grant. I have won numerous awards, and I have been invited to speak at the Harvard Faculty Club several times. I believe everyone is unique and entitled to a happy and contented life. I am honored that so many people allow me into their lives, and is it something I don't take lightly.
