About My Clients
I work with folx who are searching for a deeper connection with others, and ultimately with themselves. Who are in the process or on the precipice of their process of shedding and unlearning all that has been conditioned and socialized into them-- who are ready to better understand who they actually are and to release who they were told they should be. I work with single adults and adults practicing various relational configurations.
My Background and Approach
I have plenty of credentials, but know that my humanity is what most informs my practice of sex and relationship therapy. I have a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Human Sexuality and a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy (LMFT). I am licensed in the beautiful state of Colorado.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a human in this messy and glorious world. I too am trying to find my way through, I believe we all are. I highly value humanity, autonomy and agency, social justice, and authenticity. I practice kindness, not "niceness". I believe in stillness; in the healing power of pleasure and joy. I believe healing happens in connection. Black Lives mattering is the bare minimum, we must do better! Binaries are total bullshit and stifle us, shall we continue to shatter them. Gender affirming health care is life saving! Knowing one's trauma is a true love language. Play is essential and the more we can allow ourselves to connect to our inner child, the more integrated and whole we will be <3 Oh, and I looooooooooooove to get lost in a book-- my nervous system instantly calms when I walk into a library or hold a book in my hands.
