About My Clients

As a psychologist, I see my clients as partners in the process of healing. I respect the wisdom that you bring into the room, your understanding of yourself and your history-- and make room for the pieces of yourself that you find difficult to understand. I aim to build on this insight and to utilize my expertise to help you live your best life.

My Background and Approach

My approach is present-focused, active and tailored to your individual needs. I am anchored in the Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) tradition and integrate other approaches when helpful. Above all, I work to create an environment where you can feel connected to me and to the work we are doing together. I have specialized training in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders more generally. I utilize exposure and response prevention, the gold standard in the treatment of OCD. It has been humbling to be a part of my clients' journeys as they break out of crippling patterns and open up possibilities in their lives that before seemed impossible. 1 in 5 women experience postpartum depression, making it the most common complication of pregnancy. From trying to conceive to welcoming a baby or experiencing a loss, I recognize the complexities of these life stages and offer a compassionate space in which to navigate them.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am anchored in a CBT approach and flexible about integrating other approaches when helpful. Treatment with me is active, present-focused and individually tailored to meet your unique needs.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
