KML believes in empowering people (kids to adults) who are struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and a general lack of self-confidence. We work together to get underneath the surface symptoms and work to figure the most authentic version of yourself. Everyone is beautiful at the core of themselves and it's our job to work together to help you know YOU MATTER, YOU DESERVE, and YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH!
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is simple- we work together as a TEAM to find the barriers that are holding you back and to work our way through those. I take an empowering, strengths-based approach to help you meet your goals. I am a licensed counseling psychologist, licensed school psychologist and hold a bachelors in nursing, with a over a decade of experience in therapy/life-coaching, leadership and supervision. I would love the opportunity to work with you to take the next empowering step on your journey! I work with both adults & kids/teens, so let's talk about whether my approach is right for you! We will work as a TEAM, using your strengths as the foundation. Trauma specialty (EMDR-trained), certified eating disorder specialist supervisor (CEDS-S), additional pediatric speciality (certified school psychologist), Coauthor of children’s book “POOFAS," , Qualified Supervisor (QS) for RMHC interns/postdocs & have been a featured in over 50 media outlets.
