About My Clients
Finding a therapist you connect with is essential. Especially if you’ve had an event that’s rattled your world; experienced or care for someone feeling isolated due to disability; or felt been marginalized in systems that have misunderstood, minimized, and oppressed your autonomy. Perhaps you’ve received a diagnosis that didn’t fully get you and need a second opinion. Or maybe you've been in therapy before and it didn't feel quite right, but still think it might help. Let’s try.
My Background and Approach
My approach merges reflective space to spark insight with concrete tools to carve out moments that’ll move beyond change. I draw from philosophy and the arts as well as evidence-based treatments and research to inspire hope and opportunity. For over a decade, I’ve provided assessment and therapy across hospitals, clinics, schools, and community settings. I believe in collective care and systemic change, and have held hundreds of presentations on mental health education and advocacy. I also teach early career therapists as a Professor, so feel free to inquire re; mentorship/supervision. Treatment, supervision and training provided includes certification and experience with trauma-focused therapy, neurodivergent affirming practices, family dynamics & attachment, culture and identity, and PTSD/abuse.
