About My Clients
Most of my clients are high-performing women who look “fine” on the outside but feel mentally overloaded on the inside. They often struggle with overthinking, performance pressure, burnout, and trouble turning their minds off—especially at night. They want a structured, practical approach with tools they can use between sessions, including education on stress physiology, sleep, and nervous system regulation.
My Background and Approach
Behavioral health consults. Primary care–informed support for stress, burnout, & sleep. I am a Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC/LCMHC). My background includes work in outpatient and integrated care settings, which shaped my structured, goal-oriented approach to therapy. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and solution-focused strategies to help clients reduce anxiety, stabilize stress, and build sustainable coping skills. I also integrate education about stress physiology, sleep, and nervous system regulation so clients understand how chronic pressure affects both mental and physical health. Sessions are collaborative, focused, and practical. The goal is steady progress and increased independence—not long-term dependency.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe mental health care should be proactive, practical, and empowering. High-functioning individuals often normalize chronic stress and push through exhaustion, believing they “should” be able to handle it alone. I don’t view seeking support as a sign of weakness — I see it as a strategic decision to build steadiness and long-term resilience. I also believe mental and physical health are deeply connected. Chronic stress affects sleep, mood, focus, and overall well-being. Understanding how the nervous system works can reduce shame and increase self-compassion. Therapy doesn’t have to be endless or overwhelming. With structure, clarity, and collaboration, meaningful progress is possible.
