About My Clients

I work with individuals navigating identity, cultural challenges, trauma, and personal growth. My clients include Afro-Caribbean, African American, and white individuals, many of whom are creatives, scholars, or artists. I help them explore their sense of self, heal from past wounds, and build healthier relationships. I create a supportive, culturally informed space for those seeking clarity, empowerment, and transformation in their lives. --- https://glenn-griffin.clientsecure.me/contact-widget

My Background and Approach

I bring over 30 years of clinical and academic experience to my practice, helping clients explore their identities, histories, and personal challenges. My approach integrates Poststructural Self Psychology with a deep understanding of cultural and historical contexts. I specialize in trauma, identity, and decolonial healing, guiding clients through the complexities of race, cultural displacement, and internalized oppression. My approach is trauma-informed, empathetic, and justice-centered, focusing on self-exploration and healing. I believe therapy is a space for personal transformation, where clients can reconnect with their true selves and community. I use a combination of narrative therapy, cultural awareness, and spiritual insights to create a safe and empowering environment for clients to explore their past, present, and future.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing is a deeply personal journey connected to culture, history, and spirituality. Therapy, for me, is a space where individuals can reconnect with their true selves, their communities, and their ancestral knowledge. I approach each client with deep respect for their lived experiences and believe that everyone has the potential for transformation. I’m committed to helping clients break free from limiting beliefs and emotional blockages, guiding them toward empowerment and self-love. As a Rasta, my work is also informed by my spiritual beliefs, which center on the importance of love, dignity, and self-awareness. I believe that healing is not just an individual process but a communal one, and that emotional well-being is intertwined with social justice. I’m dedicated to helping my clients navigate the complexities of their identities and find peace, purpose, and balance in their lives.
