About My Clients
I work with high-functioning women in St. Louis who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected beneath the surface. You may be used to holding everything together...overthinking, over-giving, and pushing through...but internally feel exhausted or stuck. I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, and the impact of past experiences, offering a steady, grounded approach that supports meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for women navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and relational patterns that feel difficult to change. Many of the women I work with are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. My training in EMDR, NARM, and somatic therapy allows me to work beyond surface-level coping especially when traditional talk therapy hasn’t created the change you’re looking for. Rather than only managing symptoms, this work focuses on understanding and shifting the deeper patterns driving them. EMDR can often help reduce symptoms more efficiently by addressing what’s underneath so you’re not just talking about your experiences, but actually processing them. My approach is calm, grounded, and direct, helping you feel supported while also moving forward so you can feel more regulated, confident, and able to engage in your life with greater clarity and ease.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that many of the patterns women struggle with anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, and disconnection are not random or flaws, but deeply rooted adaptations shaped by earlier experiences. These patterns often persist not because you’re doing something wrong, but because they haven’t yet been addressed at the level where they were formed. Lasting change doesn’t come from insight alone. While understanding is important, it’s often not enough to shift what your body and nervous system are holding. This is why I focus on approaches that work beyond surface-level coping helping you process and reorganize these patterns in a way that creates real, sustainable change. Therapy, in my view, is not about fixing you it’s about working at the depth required for meaningful change. When that happens, clients often experience a greater sense of calm, clarity, and self-trust, and are able to move through their lives and relationships with more steadiness and choice.
