I WELCOME ALL ADULTS INTO MY PRACTICE. I’ve helped people of varied identities and relationships to gender, sexuality, ethnicity, race, class, age, size and abilities. Additionally, I have particular expertise in strategies to help people with ADHD. I’m comfortable in working with all types of relationships–straight or LGBTQ+, monogamous, open or poly–and I’m also knowledgeable about kink and asexuality.
My Background and Approach

It’s not always easy for people to learn to like themselves better or to forgive themselves for their mistakes. I know firsthand how negative experiences can damage your self-worth. Through therapy, I can teach you tools to become freer, happier, and empowered – regardless of your life situation. By blending kindness, gentle humor, and skill, I can help you feel safe enough to deeply explore the underlying causes of your emotional pain. And I can teach you how to better manage painful emotions early on so that they don’t spiral out of control. You’ll find real happiness as you learn to treat yourself more kindly on a daily basis and from learning how to respond more skillfully to life’s multiple daily challenges so that you feel greater happiness and peace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a formerly harsh self-critic, I know what it's like to judge myself mercilessly whenever I fell short of my goals. When I learned to develop self-compassion, I finally discovered how to feel good about myself. Now, my greatest pleasure is drawing upon this personal transformation to help others more skillfully relate to their own needs and strengths - and become lighter, freer, and more positive as a result. My warm, compassionate, and judgment-free approach means that you will feel supported during our sessions. My style is informal, active, and collaborative. Instead of focusing on flaws, I respect how your mind, body, and spirit have adapted to cope with your past circumstances. I blend techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion to guide people to see better options, and teach them concrete strategies for achieving their goals. Moreover, I’ll help you develop the confidence to take actions that will bring you happiness and fulfillment.
