My Background and Approach
I utilize collaborative, strength based, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness based, solution focused and client centered approaches. To best meet the needs of every unique person, I always maintain creativity and flexibility in sessions to empower clients and promote growth and holistic healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a LatinX and queer therapist that utilizes an empowering, strength based, spiritual and creative/expressive arts approach. Inner work is hard, but it can be fun! So, in sessions I use humor and creativity frequently. I enjoy working with youth and young adults (and have for over 10 years) around life transition issues, anxiety, depression and family conflict. My first goal is to establish a sincere and supportive relationship with you. Once that is established I will assist and encourage you as you pursue your goals, solidify your strengths, and deepen your self-concept and self-awareness.
