About My Clients
With over 17 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals and families navigating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and bipolar disorder. My goal is to help you rediscover your strengths and move through life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
My Background and Approach
I’m certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I use these approaches within a collaborative, relational framework that honors your story and empowers your healing journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, affirming relationships where each person’s story is honored without judgment. My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported—especially those navigating the long-term effects of trauma, mental health challenges, or marginalization. As a clinician, I am committed to anti-oppressive, trauma-informed care. I affirm and actively support the LGBTQIA+ community, and I stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement and other racial justice efforts. I believe that mental health care must be culturally responsive, and I continually engage in education, self-reflection, and advocacy to improve my service to the community.
