About My Clients

I work with anxious adults: maybe you have childhood trauma that still effects you, despite having a successful life. Maybe you are pregnant or a new mom struggling to be the parent you want to be. Perhaps you struggle with body image or disordered eating and are interested in intuitive eating. I offer a calm and supportive-- yet gently direct-- approach. I also help highly sensitive people embrace this trait to live more fulfilling lives.

My Background and Approach

I have a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and master's in Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a registered supervisor in Idaho and a Certified Professional Counselor in Nevada. I have worked with clients in private practice since 2014 and spent a few years as a high school counselor. My goal is to help you feel more like yourself—a more grounded, intentional, and peaceful version of yourself. I work to create an environment in which you feel understood and unconditionally supported. In this supportive space, I often use EMDR to assist with reprocessing trauma or responses that make us feel “stuck”, and I strongly believe in mindfulness. If you are interested in working with a counselor who is gentle and kind yet willing to compassionately challenge you when needed, I would love to speak with you about working together to find more peace in your life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am passionate about helping others come to realize and FEEL that they are enough, just as they are. I especially love being able to help empower women, members of the LGBTQ community, and minorities to be their true, full selves. I am also a dedicated outdoors and animal lover with a history of volunteering for environmental organizations and animal shelters.
