About My Clients
Here’s a blurb for your ideal clients: I work with men of color, dads, and anti-racist individuals ready to stop carrying the weight alone. If you’re navigating depression, anxiety, or overwhelm — whether from systemic pressures, the demands of fatherhood, or simply the exhaustion of showing up in the world — this is a space built for you. Healing here is culturally aware, affirming, and real. You deserve support that actually gets it.
My Background and Approach
My work centers on men’s issues, racial stress, relationships, parenting, and life transitions. I use evidence-based, culturally responsive, identity-affirming therapy to help clients reconnect with their innate strength and build the life they’ve always envisioned. As a Black divorced dad who has navigated my own mental health journey, I don’t just understand what you’re carrying — I’ve lived it. I get it, and I got you. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked with everyone from C-Suite executives to kindergartners, and in 2025, I had the honor of delivering the keynote address at the United Nations World Mental Health Day Event — a reflection of my deep commitment to this work on every level. Now I’m bringing all of that experience into the therapy room — for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) can benefit from therapy. I believe that diversity in all aspects makes this world beautiful and I'm here to celebrate our differences (as long as they're not rooted in bigotry, of course). I believe in vulnerability — and I'll model that by sharing that I am a suicide survivor. Thanks to my own therapy, I have learned that no problem in life is too big to handle as long as we have the proper skills to do so. I believe that basketball is the greatest sport in the world and that the Los Angeles Lakers are the greatest sports franchise. I believe cheesy pasta is the world's greatest meal. But most importantly, I also believe in YOU. Send me a message and we can talk more about how I can help you.
