About My Clients
My clients are diverse, resilient, and seeking a space where they can show up as their full selves without fear of judgment. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, self-esteem challenges, and relationship concerns. Many of my clients are processing past experiences trying to make sense of their present, often carrying the weight of expectations, pressure to “have it all together,” or simply needing someone to listen and validate their story.
My Background and Approach
Trained in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy . I have clinical and private practice experience. I also can combine a holistic approach to self-care with mental health and beauty artistry.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Black, LGBTQ+ woman and mental health professional, I deeply understand how important it is to feel seen, safe, and supported especially in spaces that have historically excluded or marginalized certain voices. My personal and professional experiences shape the way I show up in therapy: with compassion, cultural humility, and a strong belief in the power of healing through authentic connection. I’m committed to creating affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ communities, and anyone navigating layered identities, systemic barriers, or the weight of generational trauma. I support causes that center racial justice, gender equity, mental health awareness, and trauma-informed care. I stand firmly with movements like Black Lives Matter, and I advocate for mental health access in underserved communities. Outside of therapy, I express myself through makeup artistry and creative outlets that celebrate both inner and outer self-love. I believe beauty, in all its forms, can be healing.
