About My Clients
I see couples, adults, and adolescents (12+) in Missoula and throughout Montana navigating life challenges and stress, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss and grief, substance use, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. I value each client’s individuality, culture, lived experience, and identity, including LGBTQ+.
My Background and Approach
I collaborate with clients to shape therapy around their needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and, for couples, the Gottman Method often provide the framework, while empowerment, mindfulness, and grounding guide my approach. I also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and other perspectives to support lasting growth and change. Our work together will be guided by your goals and paced according to your comfort and readiness. My role is to support you in the present while helping you build lasting skills and strategies for the future. With confidence, clarity, and self-determination, change is possible.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have a background with the Missoula Mobile Support Team (MST) helping people experiencing acute mental health crises and I am happily a former attorney. These roles have shaped my calm, steady approach and deepened my commitment to clients as they navigate life’s most challenging moments. My approach is collaborative and paced to your comfort, with an emphasis on understanding what’s happening now and building skills that carry forward beyond therapy.
