My Background and Approach
If you’ve found me, you know how difficult it can be to seek answers in the areas of understanding the differences in communication, ways of learning, and social preferences for both neurodiverse children and their parents. You are most likely exhausted and eager to learn more about science-based resources to help your child succeed, as you haven’t been afforded effective parent management techniques or learned about the neurobiology of attachment. Developing co-regulation techniques is essential for calming the nervous system. These techniques guide families and improve family function. EMDR is available for children in NY, FL,VT. I specialize in Autism, ADHD, SM, PDA, RSD, 2E, ARFID, FASD, PANDAS, LGBTQ+, psychosis, interoception, adoption, veterans, and addiction. Families benefit from my extensive experience working with foster/adopted youth and as an adoptee. As an Army veteran, I assist veterans, families, and civilian contractors transition safely back into a civilian lifestyle.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I support survivors of institutional child abuse and raise awareness of the dangers and issues within the Troubled Teen Industry. Foster Care System, Long-Term Care Facilities, etc., advocating for reform and change. Thousands of kids every year are held captive in behavior modification programs, foster homes, boot camps, therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness camps, religious retreats, and rehabs for the sole purpose of profit. There is zero government oversight, leaving vulnerable children experiencing various forms of abuse such as starvation, forced labor, neglect, isolation, sexual assault, psychological abuse, humiliation, fear, conversion, religious abuse, physical abuse, and pseudoscience resulting in harm.
