About My Clients
I work a lot with trauma and anxiety surrounding an incident or incidents that have created anxiety and specific fears. My ideal client is someone who's ready to work. I promise I will be right there with you, encouraging you, helping you examine and sort out what works best for you! My belief is that everyone has trauma and blocks in their lives, and that having a trained person to help you move forward can have a very positive impact. I work with adults only at present.
My Background and Approach
My background is in CBT and Mindfulness with a Solution-Focused, strengths-based, and client-centered approach. You and I will work together and, because you are unique, I will tailor the approach to you. We can use EMDR if appropriate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has a number of untapped potentials that are often blocked by trauma, anxiety, depression, or even a loss of the curiosity and creativity that lead to change. All of these blocks can be addressed in therapy, a place where you can be you and where you can let go and explore where you want to go or what you want to change.
