About My Clients
You may have spent years feeling misunderstood or judged, masking parts of yourself or making yourself smaller to get by. Perhaps you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, or habits you can't seem to break or fully understand. I work with adolescents and adults navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, substance use, compulsive behaviors, involvement with the legal system, and other challenges.
My Background and Approach
The ways we think, feel, and act don't develop in a vacuum. Our experiences shape how we respond, and even behaviors we struggle with served a purpose at some point. I believe in understanding how we got here. My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in knowing there's no single right way to live. Together, we'll explore patterns, question assumptions, and slow things down. Change rarely happens in a dramatic before-and-after moment, and sometimes it takes another person to help us recognize how far we've come. Whatever you bring into the room, there's space for it, and I'd welcome the chance to explore what comes next for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy isn't about recovering some earlier, unbroken self or striving toward an idealized one. It's about understanding ourselves in context, accepting the complexity of being human, and having someone alongside to offer perspective without pretending to know us better than we know ourselves. Whatever brought you here, you don't need all the answers; recognizing that you want things to be different is a perfect place to begin.
