About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready and motivated to make a positive change in their life. My main goal for my clients is to allow them to get real with themselves, acknowledge the ways in which their thoughts or behaviors are contributing to their problems and together finding healthier ways to function. I believe that through working together, clients can find strength and encouragement to take back some of the control that they’ve been allowing others for so many years.
My Background and Approach
My treatment approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, operating within the belief that our thoughts are directly linked to our feelings and when we can learn to challenge and change these thoughts, we can also change how we feel. This approach works especially well with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
