About My Clients
Are you a mom or mom to be who feels isolated and lonely? Do you feel guilty for not feeling your best, even though you're "supposed" to be happy and content? You are not alone. Many women experience intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression, rage during pregnancy and postpartum, so you are not alone and you are at the right place. During out time together, we will collaboratively develop coping skills to use to manage your emotions and thoughts. I look forward to being a support during this time.
My Background and Approach
I have 8 years of experience and provide a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy. I specialize in perinatal mental health and supports women during their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. Pregnancy and postpartum can feel isolating and lonely, and I help my clients feel more calm, connected and confident during these challenging, yet beautiful, life stages. My approach is eclectic and I use aspects of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to feel more connected to yourself, while also developing coping tools to manage your emotions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow and improve their lives, no matter what stage of life they are in. It is never too late to become the best version of yourself. We, as humans, have the capacity to learn new skills, as well as unlearn behaviors that don't serve us. Through my own work, I learned the power of accepting things as they are, while using coping skills to make the discomfort of that a little more manageable. Change is hard and uncomfortable, but worth the discomfort. If you want to learn more about how I can help you through your challenges, book a free 15 minute phone consultation.
