My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual (Spanish) mental health clinician with Master's in Social Work (with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice) from Syracuse University. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse cultural backgrounds and identities in both individual and group settings. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress-management, self-exploration, social-emotional learning, and self-esteem enhancement. I utilize a multi-dimensional, deeply empathetic, strengths-based approach, with a focus on evidence-based interventions, client collaboration, trauma-informed practice, and client empowerment.
