I think we can all agree that being a young person in this day and age can be difficult. School, family life, friends, social media, and so many other aspects can make us feel isolated, anxious, depressed, and lonely. Much of our depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns are influenced by the thoughts and beliefs we hold about ourselves.
My Background and Approach
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist my clients in identifying negative beliefs or unhealthy thinking patterns. We then work to reframe these thoughts so that you can begin to adopt healthier behaviors. We will also develop a toolbox of healthy coping skills to equip us when we are faced with triggers or difficult emotions. When we have the tools we need to manage, we can face whatever comes our way. I make it a priority to meet my clients where they’re at and work collaboratively so that you can become the best possible version of yourself!
