About My Clients
Is your internal dialogue telling you stories? Stories like my anxiety is too bad, to have normal life or no one likes me that is why I am so depressed. My partner just does not love or care about me anymore. It is my fault. My life will never get better. Are these facts or is that the story you're telling yourself?
My Background and Approach
I have extensive experience in providing trauma focused therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual, couple, and family therapy. I use best practices and theoretical orientations which include, but are not limited to, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, motivational interviewing, and EMDR.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones
