I work with adults navigating disability identities and concerns (including ADHD, Autism, and learning disabilities), disability-related stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, sexual-identity exploration, and more. My ideal clients seek a safe, accessible, affirming space to address these issues, set meaningful goals, and break through barriers to living authentically and fully.
My Background and Approach
I hold an Ed.D. in Higher Education and am both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), grounding my practice in rigorous training and over a decade of experience. My tenure as ADA Coordinator and Director of Access & Accommodation at Arkansas State University has honed my skills in advocacy, psychoeducation, and individualized treatment planning—ensuring you benefit from evidence-informed strategies that enhance self-advocacy and resilience. In my practice, I generally work from Adlerian and CBT frameworks, getting to know my clients holistically and how their thoughts and beliefs impact how they see and navigate the world around them. My goal is to help them decrease symptoms and reframe perspectives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m am LGBTQ+ Safe Zone Trained and present regularly on disability inclusion and advocacy, including Disability Pride Month outreach. I’m committed to social justice, equity, and amplifying marginalized voices—values that inform my person-centered, strength-based approach and ensure every client feels respected, seen, and empowered. I am open to serving clients of all religions or no religion because I believe that everyone, no matter that background or beliefs deserves that right to thrive and live a purposeful life of their choosing.
