About My Clients
If you are tired of waiting several weeks to see a psychiatric provider for medication, there is no need to wait any longer. My clients are comfortable receiving psychiatric treatment from the comfort of their homes. I treat the person who says they have had anxiety most of their lives. If you have a busy mind, racing thoughts, trouble focusing, trouble sleeping and generally anxious- I can help you. These symptoms can lead to depression, in which I treat also. I do genetic testing also.
My Background and Approach
I am person- centered and believe in treating the whole person when someone comes to me. I also strongly believe in the collaborative approach and I am honored to talk with your therapist or healthcare providers, along with anyone you choose (with your signed permission) to help you achieve the best treatment outcomes. For those who are fearful of taking mental health medication or have had issues in the past, I offer genetic testing to help inform my decision-making. My medication prescribing techniques follow the practice guidelines and I believe in starting the medication low and moving the medication up slowly as the person is comfortable and tolerating it well. I prescribe in such a way that you will not become addicted to medication or depend on the medication. You will not feel like a zombie and you will maintain your personality traits. There are myths out there and I will be able to answer your questions. listen to your main concerns throughout your treatment process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that access to mental health services should be accessible and not hard to get. I believe in inclusion and consider myself an ally to the LGBTQ population, those facing discrimination or challenges, vulnerable populations and anyone who needs an advocate.
