About My Clients
I enjoy and feel comfortable working with a wide range of individuals. I work primarily with adults and teenagers, and focus on people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life stressors, big life changes, relationship issues, grief, and who are motivated to make changes and move forward. I work with women and men, and want you to feel comfortable and safe as you start this process. Working together to achieve your goals and alleviate your symptoms is my goal.
My Background and Approach
My background is Social Work, which really involves seeing people as part of the overall system, the society, environment, family, work, and childhood experience. Social work spoke to me because it allows us to see things from a bigger and zoomed out lense, and from an individual and specific lense. I have been working in the field of Social work since 2014, and private practice since 2019. I have worked with families, children, and adults. I specialize in working with people going through life changes, whether relationship, stress, jobs, parenting, grief, or ready to make changes to feel less stuck. Some interventions I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused. I want this to be a collaborative approach, so I want to hear from you and work together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was drawn to social justice when I started college, which encouraged me to study Sociology, and later to study Social Work. I believe in equality and promoting the voices of people who have been marginalized in our society. I work to understand my clients background and life experiences. I enjoy spending time outside, spending time with family, and reading.
