About My Clients
I work with clients navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and struggles with perfectionism. I also work extensively with people navigating the following concerns/experiences- family dynamics, cultural concerns (focusing on those from latine backgrounds), neurodivergence, building mind-body connections, new therapists/social workers, athletes, dancers, young adults, sex positive support, and psychedelic assisted support.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver where I also received a certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work. I provide EMDR and psychedelic assisted psychotherapy using either ketamine or psilocybin. In my work, I draw from several modalities including DBT, ACT, mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and behavioral interventions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value a strengths-based, person-centered approach to treatment. You are the expert of your experience and you have what it takes to achieve your therapy goals. We don’t exist in isolation and we don’t heal in isolation, which is why I work with my clients from a systemic framework. I also believe in a mind-body approach to therapy. Our body provides us with data and I support my clients to become more intune with that sensory information.
