My Background and Approach
My formal education includes a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, an MA in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Los Angeles campus), and a BA in Psychology from Hampton University. I completed a nationally accredited pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral residency at South Florida State Hospital, and have advanced training healing diverse individuals with trauma, psychotic, and personality related disorders. I specialize in creating a safe space to slay self-doubt by changing the narrative. Why? Because we are what we say and what we think! Integrating evidenced based treatment with a short term, strength based, and culturally informed approach, we will laugh, explore, and unpack.
