About My Clients
I work with clients who are trying to cope with anxiety, depression, early childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and PTSD. I am someone who is interested in listening to your concerns and in helping you develop a better understanding of these issues.
My Background and Approach
I am an existentialist, which means I believe in exploring the human condition and the meaning of life through a philosophical lens. The therapy I offer is built on the relationship between the therapist and the client, emphasizing trust, empathy, and genuine connection. This partnership allows for a deeper understanding of personal experiences and encourages personal growth and self-discovery. By working together, we can delve into the complexity of your emotions and experiences, providing a safe space for reflection and insight. My goal for you is to explore what is creating the anxiety, understand its root causes, and work toward practical and effective solutions. This journey will empower you to achieve greater mental well-being and resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. Our capacity for growth and transformation is virtually limitless. Human potential is boundless, and I don't believe there is a ceiling to what we can achieve. The main reason we develop mental health issues, in my view, is due to unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way, often without even realizing it. These behaviors can stem from various sources, such as our upbringing, societal influences, or personal experiences. However, this also means that we have the power to unlearn these faulty behaviors and replace them with healthier ones. By identifying the root causes of our mental health challenges and actively working to change our patterns, we can foster a more positive and balanced state of mind. This journey towards mental well-being is a continuous process, but it is one that is entirely achievable with dedication and support.
