About My Clients

Whether you’re entering a new relationship, becoming a parent, redefining your identity, recovering from betrayal, experiencing challenges of sex/intimacy or facing the changes of an empty nest and menopause, you don’t have to navigate the anxiety and depression of it alone.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving adults and couples throughout Washington and Idaho, offering in-person therapy in Spokane and telehealth services statewide. My practice focuses on helping clients navigate relationship challenges, major life transitions, discernment around the future of their relationships, and the emotional impact of separation and divorce. Additionally, I am trained in CBT-I to help those battling insomnia. I utilize a hybrid of relational and behavioral models to help my clients grow with their new lived challenges. The relational models include Gottman Level 2, Relationship Development Model, sex therapy, and discernment. My favorite behavioral model is ACT, but I have been known to pull from Mindful CBT and DBT. I

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My work is grounded in the belief that people are capable of growth, healing, and meaningful change, even during life's most difficult seasons. I believe that relationships have the power to both wound and heal, and that understanding the patterns we bring into our relationships is often the key to creating lasting change. I believe therapy should be a balance of compassion and accountability—a place where clients feel genuinely supported while also being challenged to examine what is keeping them stuck. Lasting change requires both insight and action. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path for relationships. While I am passionate about helping couples strengthen and repair their connection, I also recognize that not every relationship is meant to continue. Sometimes the healthiest outcome is reconciliation; other times it is clarity, acceptance, and moving forward with integrity. I believe major life transitions and periods of uncertainty can become opportunities for growth.
